Popular lifestyle habits often develop a positive mindset with the intention of improving health to live better lives in 2024.  Lack of regular exercise across the U.S. lessons  life expectancy by five years on average.  Lack of exercise may have serious implications associated with physical inactivity that may result in chronic diseases including cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, certain cancers, anxiety, depression, and obesity. “Cardiovascular disease (CVDs) is the leading cause of death globally, taking an estimated 17.9 million lives each year.  CVDs is a group of disorders of the heart and blood vessels that include coronary heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, rheumatic heart disease and other conditions.”  WHO.  Popular lifestyle habits gain momentum in 2024 as more people are determined to participate in regular exercise in effort to strengthen cardio fitness. 

Regular physical activity can lessen the risk of developing chronic diseases leading to improved health conditions.  Aerobic exercise enhances heart function, lowering resting heart rate while strengthening heart muscle.  It can help pump your blood more efficiently increasing blood flow throughout the body to muscles increasing oxygen levels in the blood boosting your energy.  Regular aerobic activity can lower the risk of developing conditions like diabetes, heart disease and stroke.  Regular aerobic exercise develops stamina, strength and fitness toning the entire body while working out during sport activities including aerobics, elliptical training, jogging, swimming, dancing, and walking exercise.  Walking once per day for 30 to 60 minutes can substantially improve your body’s fitness making daily activities easier and less tiring.  Aerobic activities can boost mood, increasing physical energy levels in the body, producing feelings of vitality. 

It can cause the brain to release endorphins and serotonin which are natural chemicals that can help improve mood.  Regular aerobic activities can improve lung function circulation, increasing oxygen supply throughout the body decreasing inflammation. Lower blood sugar levels and ward off viral diseases. Popular lifestyle habits include incorporating regular exercise in 2024 increasing physical fitness in daily activities.  According to the CDC the prevalence of obesity remains high as support for prevention and treatment remains high.  Obesity is caused by many factors including eating patterns, physical activity levels, sleep routines, genetics and certain medications.  This means there is no one size fits all approach.  However we know key strategies that work including addressing underlying social determinants of health such as health care, healthy and affordable food and safe places for physical activity.” CDC. 

Eating a balanced diet can have many benefits for managing weight successfully while improving heart health, strengthening bones and increasing physical energy. Developing new dietary habits can help protect the body against chronic diseases like diabetes, heart disease and cancers.  Positive thinking creates a good mindset often lowering the risk of depression, distress and pain in the body.  Stress management leads to greater focus and clarity, quality of being expressive, stimulating positive thought patterns, increasing physical energy with feelings of optimism about the future of a successful outcome. Popular lifestyle habits embrace a positive mindset utilizing better coping skills to manage stress, reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety.  A growth in positive mindset can led to greater resilience and perseverance doing something despite the difficulty or delay to achieve a personal goal of attainment.

People with this mindset develop the intention of positive thinking intentionally tailoring thoughts to focus on the positive aspects rather than negatives.  It can help people achieve personal goals while living happier lives improving mental and physical health with enthusiasm.
